To provide an elegant and functional space for this grand event, a 15x25x4m A-frame event tent spanning 375 square meters was the chosen centerpiece. This remarkable structure not only met the client’s spatial requirements but also set the stage for the successful launch of Mercedes-Benz’s new lineup.
Project background
The Mercedes-Benz auto show in 2006 marked a significant occasion in Guangzhou, China. With a need for a 300-400 square meter space to host their debut car launch show, the organizers turned to event tents for the solution. After careful consideration, a 15x25m event tent, covering 375 square meters, was recommended—a perfect match for their requirements. To further enhance the tent’s appeal, three types of sidewalls were proposed: PVC white fabric, PVC white fabric with transparent windows, and glass walls. After weighing aesthetics against functional needs, the client opted for a combination of PVC white fabric and fabric with transparent windows. To facilitate guest entry and exit, several sets of double glass doors were added.
