(1)Baseplate Placement
According to the specifications of the marquee, lay out the construction site and preliminarily place the baseplates based on their positioning dimensions;
We recommend not moving other materials to the center of the site until the dimensions of the baseplates have been confirmed, as materials on the ground can interfere with your use of measuring tools.
(2) Baseplate Positioning and Verification
- – Position the side wall/roof baseplates precisely according to the dimensions in the marquee baseplate positioning diagram.
- – Use the principle of the Pythagorean theorem to verify the horizontal and vertical dimensions and angles by measuring the diagonals.
- – Mark the baseplate positions or outlines after confirming they are correct.
- – Use a laser or spirit level to verify the Z-axis height of each baseplate is consistent.
(3) Frame Assembly
- – Ridge connector – roof beam – side legs – assembling baseplates – eave, ridge strut – cables. Connect the roof beams to the ridge connectors, assembling any extension roof beams with ridge connectors beforehand.
- – Units with cables should have cable baseplates installed concurrently at designated holes during beam assembly and secured with bolts.
- – Cover the joints between roof beams, extension segments, and ridge connectors during frame assembly with butyl tape to prevent rainwater from entering the tent.
- – Ensure that the hooks on the beams and connectors are level with the ground; if not, adjust the direction of the connectors and beams.
(4) Connection of Roof Beams and Side Legs
- Connect the side legs to the side wall baseplates by aligning the pinholes at the bottom of the side legs with those on the baseplates and inserting a cylindrical pin, followed by an R-clip into the pin’s conical hole.
- Secure eave and ridge struts with M20*160 bolts; note that gable frame supports are not installed when the span is relatively short, typically not requiring eave or ridge supports.
(5) Eave, Roof Purlin, and Gable Hanging Tube Installation
- – Hang the bent hook end of the eave roof purlin on the hook of the roof beam first, then use a fork to lift the other end of the purlin, inserting the straight hook into the corresponding hook on the second frame set.
- – If the tent roof is very high, assist with a cherry picker to install the high parts of the eave roof purlins.
(6) Roof Panel Installation and Tensioning
Spread the roof panels near each unit, open the packaging, and place the fabric on the carpet to prevent dirt. Throw the drawstring over the top of the marquee to the other side.
