Preface
Please read it carefully before building a warehouse tent and performing various maintenance operations. Be familiar with the warehouse’s safety precautions before proceeding. Since the appearance and details of our company’s products are constantly being improved, or the product you purchased is customized, the actual product you see may be different from the illustrations in this manual. Preparation before building a warehouse
Transportation conditions
Please confirm that the transport vehicle’s height, width, turning radius, and total vehicle weight are within the allowable range of the road you are traveling on, and register for passage in advance.
Venue requirements
Please ensure that the site has enough space for vehicle passage and material storage in addition to the area occupied by the tent.
Basic conditions for building a warehouse
- This is for warehouse tents with small spans, average design conditions, and mediumto long-term use. It is recommended that the base be fixed with expansion bolts or chemical bolts. We require that the distance between the expansion bolts at the base and the edge of the concrete foundation is greater than 200m and that the horizontal drop of the foundation plane is not greater than 30mm.
- For larger spans or larger design conditions, warehouse tents are used semi-permanently. It is recommended to use embedded screws or set up an independent foundation to fix the base. Please contact us before foundation construction and provide a geological survey report of the construction site so that we can provide accurate foundation design and construction drawings.
- When the construction site is gravel or dirt, and the warehouse is only used temporarily, steel brazing can be used to fix it. Calculate and check the anchoring depth of the steel brazing. The length of the steel brazing should be no less than 800mm, and the diameter should be no less than 25mm.
- When building a warehouse unsuitable for damaging the existing floor, it is recommended to fix the base with weight. Our company has matching designed load-bearing plates for you to choose from.
Warehouse construction materials
- The main structural material of the warehouse tent is aluminum alloy, grade 6061-T6.
- The node connection components are Q235 steel, and the surface is hot-dip galvanized.
- Roofing steel cables are general-purpose galvanized steel wire ropes covered with PE rubber.
- The top cloth is made of white light-shielding double-sided PVC synthetic fiber cloth with a thickness of 0.76m.
How to construct a warehouse?
Base placement and anchoring
According to the specifications of the warehouse tent, the construction site is laid out, and the base is initially placed according to the positioning size of the base.
Sorting materials for building a warehouse
After you are familiar with the instructions, structural drawings, and tent construction steps, placing the materials to be assembled in an orderly manner according to the rules of warehouse building construction will make your construction work more efficient.
Building a warehouse framework
(1) The diagonal beam is connected to the connection angle of the roof ridge. If there is an extended diagonal beam, the extended diagonal beam and the connection angle of the roof ridge should be assembled first.
(2) The connection between the inclined beam and the load-bearing column is fastened with four bolts.
(3) Connect the load-bearing column to the side wall base. Align the pinhole at the bottom of the load-bearing column with the base pinhole and insert the cylindrical pin. Insert the cotter pin into the cone head hole of the cylindrical pin.
(4) Install the eaves and ridge supports and tighten them with bolts. Note that the exterior gable frame does not have braces installed. Eaves and ridge supports are generally not configured when the span is small. Please refer to the order requirements and frame drawing.
(5) Follow the above steps to assemble all the door frames of the warehouse tent on the ground.
(6) Fix the gable side columns to the inclined beams of the outer gable wall and tighten them with bolts.
(7) Hang one end of the eaves and roof square pipes with a curved hook into the hook of the inclined beam.
Install eaves, roof square pipes, and gable hanging pipes.
First, hang one end of the eaves roof square tube with a curved hook on the hook of the inclined beam. Then, use another rod to support the other end of the square tube, and insert the straight hook of the square tube into the corresponding hook of the second set of frames.
Install steel cable
Secure the unfixed steel cable end to the pre-installed steel cable base. Note that the turnbuckle on the steel cable should be loosened to its longest state first. After inserting the pins on the steel cable base, tighten the turnbuckle. The stress state of all steel cables should be consistent.
Install tarpaulin cover fabric building structures.
Swing the drawstring over the top of the tent to the other side of the tent. Insert the clamping strips of the top cloth into the slots of the inclined beams, and pull the top cloth evenly to the other side of the tent by manpower or with the help of traction equipment through the pull rope. The top can be pulled evenly to the vertical edges on both sides of the tent. Before inserting the card strip, please ensure that the tarpaulin’s front and back sides are not installed backward.
Warehouse construction materials maintenance instructions
- Check the nuts regularly to see if they are loose.
- Regularly check whether the cross braces are evenly applied and check whether the two cross braces in the same unit are in a tight state.
- Regularly check whether the steel cables are evenly stretched and stretched, and check whether the two crossing steel cables in the same unit are in a tight state.
- Regularly check whether the fastener is rusty or the nylon strap is severely aged.
- Whether there is damage to the warehouse fabric, when branches around the tent sway in the wind and scratch the tarp, or if debris falls for other unknown reasons, the tarp may be damaged.
- When water or snow accumulates on the roof cloth, please clean up the water as soon as possible.
- Check whether the top cloth is loose. After wind, rain, or snow, the tarpaulin will stretch due to external force.
