Preparation before building hoop buildings
Approval of construction application
Before using the hoop greenhouse, you must understand local regulations and apply for approval. Avoid regulatory issues that could delay your construction progress.Transportation conditions
Please confirm the size of the main frame of the hoop greenhouse and whether the vehicle can meet the transportation requirements. Avoid the hassle of changing cars for loading.Venue requirements
Conduct a detailed assessment of the proposed construction site to understand soil type, drainage conditions, and whether there are potential geological issues. If there is already a concrete floor on the site, it must be assessed whether it can be damaged. Other fixing methods must be considered if the site does not allow for damage.Tool preparation
We include but are not limited to torque wrenches, tape measures, levels, impact drills, medium 20 drill bits, octagonal hammers, herringbone ladders, guy ropes, braces, etc.- The rated torque value of the torque wrench must be greater than 200N·m.
- The length of the tape measure should be larger than the span of the tent.
- The impact drill can hold over 20 drill bits with power greater than 800W.
- The weight of the octagonal hammer shall not be less than 8 pounds.
- The shelter provides the stay ropes and poles.
Detailed installation steps of hoop greenhouse
1. Material unloadingAvoid excessive accumulation of unloaded materials and being too far from the construction site. During the unloading process, please check whether the materials are complete and intact according to the component list in the appendix. To promptly deal with abnormal problems at the factory or during transportation. Sort in time so that you can carry out the construction work orderly.
2. Base PlacementAccording to the hoop greenhouse specifications, the construction site is laid out, and the base is initially placed according to the base’s positioning size.
3. Base positioning and verificationUse the diagonal dimensions to check the horizontal and vertical dimensions and angles. After confirmation, mark the holes on the base plate or the outer edge. Use a laser level or a flat water pipe to check whether the Z-direction height of each base is consistent.
4. Assemble the frameRidge connection angle →Inclined beam → load-bearing column → Assembled base → Eaves and ridge support
5. Tarpaulin installation and tighteningInsert the clamping strips of the top cloth into the slots of the inclined beams, and use workforce or traction equipment to pull the top cloth evenly to the tent through the pull rope. On the other side, the tarp should be pulled to the hoop greenhouse so that the vertical edges on both sides are equal. Before inserting the clips, please ensure the tarpaulin’s front and back sides are not installed backward.
6. CheckCheck regularly that hoop barn kits are in good condition. Follow-up maintenance checks whether parts are rusted, the wall is damaged, the tarpaulin is damaged, etc. If there are any abnormalities, they should be repaired in time. It is recommended that you check at least once every three months.
Safety warning
- Please wear safety helmets, reflective vests, and other labor protection equipment before construction.
- Warning cordons or protective barriers must be set up at the construction site.
- Electrical facilities at the construction site must have electric shock prevention signs.
- Dedicated personnel should operate and direct construction machinery to ensure safe and stable operation and avoid damage to the building structure due to improper operation.
- Please do not bring flammable and explosive items and open flames into the tent to prevent uncontrollable losses.
- The hoop greenhouse should be used 100m away from flammable and explosive items. Fire extinguishing facilities that meet fire protection requirements should be equipped near the tent.
Conclusion
In addition to blocking excess rain and wind, the hoop greenhouse repels snow, protects against frost and dew, and protects crops from animals. It also lowers temperatures and reduces UV exposure. The construction of hoop buildings is economical and durable. Growing crops in cold weather is fun; share the fun with Shelter’s best hoop greenhouse!
